As part of the Amey Infrastructure Services team responsible for the term
maintenance contract for all street lighting and lit signs in the City of York we
provide exterior lighting and electrical designs for the renewal of street lighting in
Residential areas, Section 38 and 278 street lighting designs for new
developments and upgrades or new lighting installations to the main
carriageways.
All designs are in accordance with the requirements of York City Council’s requirements and are submitted with all drawings and supporting calculations.
York City provides a very diverse range of designs and challenges due to its mix of city residential areas, industrial parks, business parks and commercial city areas. In particular city areas require greater attention due to the historical elements, risk of flooding and abandoned cellars.
